Kutob is a Filipino horror movie that is in line with the psycho and Carrie genre. The movie revolves around a young man who was abused when he was a boy by a family member, tortured and tormented by it and has difficulty dealing with the people around him and eventually grew up to be a very disturbed young man who later on end up being a serial killer.
His serial killer personality started when he killed the boss of the lady he fell in love with and when he offered his love to the lady and was turned down he started killing everyone around her including her friends. As the killing spree starts deeper secrets are being unraveled.
The film is directed by Jose Javier Reyes and was a successful box office hit at the time of its release in the Philippines. Its lead star, Marvin Agustin and the director were able to earn best actor and best director award at a local film festival.
